Project Work

Teachers observe children’s interests and questions, then design investigations around what genuinely fascinates them. Through hands-on exploration with diverse materials, children develop research skills, creative expression, and collaboration while pursuing what matters to them.

Key elements:

  • Child-initiated topics based on genuine curiosity
  • Wide variety of materials: paint, clay, blocks, recycled materials
  • Small group collaboration and individual exploration
  • Documentation of the learning process
  • Culminating exhibitions sharing discoveries with families
Edible Garden

A weekly outdoor experience where children plant, tend, and harvest vegetables. More than gardening, it teaches patience, responsibility, and sustainability through hands-on connection with nature.

What children experience:

  • Planting, watering, and harvesting vegetables
  • Observing plant life cycles and seasonal changes
  • Discovering insects, worms, and garden ecosystems
  • Understanding sustainability and environmental care
  • Cooking and tasting garden produce

Structured Learning

A balanced approach to English, Chinese, and Math for children 3 years and above. Using resources that support differentiated learning, each child progresses at their own pace.

Our approach:

  • Phonics, reading, and writing in English
  • Chinese language through songs, stories, and conversation
  • Mathematical thinking through hands-on manipulatives
  • Differentiated instruction meeting each child where they are
  • Learning through play and exploration, not worksheets
